Time really flies with the Luminox AIR Series Blackbird When the US Air Force asked Luminox to create a line of pilot watches for them, a collaboration with Lockheed Martin Corporation, the makers and engineers of incredible aircraft, was the natural route. Currently, Air Forces around the world use the "elevated" Luminox AIR series timepieces. The Blackbird 9098 is one part of the collection. Black PVD coats the stainless steel band and case as a Valjoux Automatic Movement keeps things running. The dark green enamel dial has tritium tube illumination and day of week/date windows, all protected by an antireflective sapphire crystal.
